Haste is all about a lack of proportion - is the magnitude of the commitment too large compared to the amount of time that was spent pondering and deliberating on it? Is the commitment fully understood? What would happen if the commitment were not met? Is the consequence of failure more than twice the amount of resources being pledged to the project?
